“Stone Arch Bridge” by Yvonne Pecor Mucci (Framed to 11 x 14, Sold)
The stone arch bridge shown above was painted at Winterthur during the Brandywine Plein Air exhibition. I loved the fall colors reflecting in the water. Great day painting and talking about all of the beautiful locations included in this competition. These wonderful colors will be replaced with snow, and I may have to trek out there and capture another season!

/ November 9, 2016This painting seems so peaceful and effortless. Love it. I picked up a plein aire set up a while back but haven’t used it much. I’m hoping to have more time to explore it in the near future.

/ November 10, 2016Thank you so much. I love painting en plein air, more than in studio. The color is amazing in person as compared to photographs. Well worth your time exploring!

/ February 11, 2017Hello Yvonne, So good to see more of your work. I especially enjoyed the watercolor, Stone Arch Bridge. The autumn tree and the play of colors was spectacular and the stonework of the bridge made me want to walk across it. Just lovely.
